Visit the Colorado School of Public Health at the University of Northern Colorado.
If you’re looking to fit your public health degree around your busy work schedule while maximizing your opportunities for community engagement, our University of Northern Colorado (UNC) location may be the right fit for you. We offer a Master of Public Health in Community Health Education, with the option to add an emphasis in global public health, and a Certificate in Public Health Sciences on this campus in Greeley, Colorado.
At our UNC location, we offer evening programs, as well as online and hybrid courses. Thanks to this flexibility, the majority of our students on this campus work full-time or part-time while pursuing their degree.
Students on the UNC campus enjoy smaller class sizes that foster student-faculty relationships through mentoring, advising, and networking. As a traditional college campus with both undergraduate and graduate students, UNC offers a strong campus and local community culture. UNC has received the Carnegie Foundation's Classification for Community Engagement—a classification that reflects how many opportunities students have to apply what they learn in the classroom in the community. Greeley is a growing city with a small-town feel less than an hour’s drive from Denver, making this program a great option whether you live in town or in the city.
Explore the lower Poudre River Trail, 21 miles of well-maintained pathways for walking, cycling, running, roller-blading, and more; bike approximately 85 miles of in-town bike lanes; and explore the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, all within a short drive from downtown Greeley. All three of our universities are located near the Rocky Mountains,
which means endless opportunities for outdoor activities are at your doorstep! You can ski or snowboard at one of Colorado's many resorts or explore our beautiful state and national
parks, including Rocky Mountain National Park, Mesa Verde, and the Great
Sand Dunes.
