Every new healthcare innovation has large and lasting impacts. These innovations can positively affect millions of people’s lives, but they can also create disparities. Our Department of Health Systems, Management & Policy uses data to understand the implications of decisions in public health and healthcare. We solve the problems of healthcare systems by designing and testing solutions that push policies forward.

What you can learn

A graduate degree in health systems, management and policy prepares you to make sense of data, apply them to healthcare solutions, and advocate for evidence-based policies. As a student in our programs, you’ll gain a strong understanding of healthcare delivery and financing, as well as policy implementation. You’ll also learn how to be a leader and manage resources in a rapidly changing healthcare landscape. When you leave our programs, you’ll be ready to be on the front lines of advocacy in any public health field. Our graduates work in healthcare consulting, program evaluation, philanthropy, policy development and analysis, and healthcare research.
