More than 30,000 undergraduate and graduate students attend classes at CSU across eight schools and colleges. Our students at CSU experience personal interactions with faculty members who come from a wide range of academic departments. ColoradoSPH at CSU students also have the opportunity to learn alongside peers from other disciplines.​ Outside the classroom, you'll have access to all the research opportunities, athletic events, performing arts, and activities you'd expect at a major state university.

Hike to 7,260-foot Horsetooth Rock, go whitewater rafting on the Cache la Poudre River, mountain bike at Lory State Park, explore the prairie alongside the only wild bison herd in Colorado, or just have a quiet picnic at the reservoir. That’s just some of what you can do within 30 minutes of campus. And in the winter, throw your skis on your car and head to one of several ski resorts located less than a two-hour drive away.

With a robust public transportation system, bike routes on almost every road, and a uniquely walkable campus, it's easy to travel through the city in an environmentally-friendly way and hop over to Old Town, a historic area lined with coffee houses, restaurants, and shops.
