The purpose of this scholarship is to promote diversity, equity, and inclusivity within the school. Preference will be given to students from populations underrepresented in the school or in public health professions. Students who are African American/Black, Hispanic/Latino, identify as LGBTQ+, first generation college students, and/or students who have faced unusual adversity are encouraged to apply for scholarship support from this fund. However, an applicant’s race, ethnicity, gender, or sexual orientation will not be considered a factor in the recipient selection process.

Created in honor of University of Colorado President Emerita and prior ColoradoSPH Interim Dean Dr. Judith Albino, the Albino Diversity Scholarship is provided to health professional students with a preference for students from federally recognized Indian tribes.

The goal of this scholarship is to support the MPH and MS students who have high potential for academic success and high potential for contributing to public health efforts to promote health equity. Hoffman Scholarship recipients are nominated by each academic department following their acceptance into one of the school's programs. Awards are based on available funds and currently do not require a separate application. Eligibility is determined by the school's scholarship and awards committee.

Established in memory of ColoradoSPH alumna Anna Helms, MPH '14, who graduated with a concentration in public health communication from ColoradoSPH at Colorado State University. This scholarship will support students attending the MPH program at CSU.

Established by founding residency director and professor emeritus Dr. William Marine, the endowment supports the Colorado School of Public Health Preventive Medicine Residency Program. For 25 years, the residency program has trained physicians in public health science, preparing them for careers devoted to health promotion, wellness and disease prevention. Gifts to the endowment help ensure the success of this program for both the physicians trained and the public served.

Established by the Colorado Trust in honor of former Trust President/CEO John R. Moran Jr., this endowed scholarship fund supports students at all three Colorado School of Public Health locations. Scholarship support is critical toward future student success and program alumni are encourage to designate their annual gifts toward this scholarship fund.

Established by Professor Emerita Miriam Orleans, the Orleans Graduate Research Fund supports student research activities and associated costs including travel and conference stipends. Current students are eligible to apply during open calls for proposals—usually published twice per year.

Named in honor of former Center for Global Health Director Calvin L. Wilson, MD, this fund provides student support including scholarships, travel and projects related to global health at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus.

This fund is meant to support projects, research, cultivation, and recruitment at the discretion of the Dean of the Colorado School of Public Health. Because more than 98 percent of donors earmark their gifts toward specific purposes, the budget needs of critical Colorado School of Public Health operational areas are frequently unmet by private philanthropy. Though such needs—from information technology to utilities, from maintenance to program administration—may be less alluring to some donors, they are fundamental to the successful operation of a university. Unrestricted gifts help alleviate these needs, and more. They help school leaders dedicate funds to the areas of greatest need at any given time. They fill critical gaps—whether it be financial support or extracurricular learning opportunities for students, or development opportunities for promising faculty. And by giving us the flexibility to deploy resources nimbly and efficiently, unrestricted gifts enable ColoradoSPH to pursue new opportunities.

Established in 2014, this fund supports the annual case competition hosted by the students of the Colorado School of Public Health each year on the CU Anschutz Medical Campus. This fund also supports scholarships for the winning teams, as well as the opportunity for support of the winning team's travel expenses to Emory University to participate in the annual global case competition.
