The Master of Science in Worker Health, Safety and Well-Being prepares professionals to address complex workforce challenges at the intersection of occupational health, organizational systems, and worker well-being. As workplaces face increasing pressures related to mental health, chronic disease, worker injury, and evolving patterns of work, there is growing demand for leaders who can develop integrated, evidence-based solutions that support both worker and organizational health.
Grounded in Total Worker Health®, this interdisciplinary program expands traditional occupational health and safety training by aligning systems. Students gain applied skills in analyzing workforce health challenges, designing interventions, and leading coordinated strategies that improve worker outcomes and organizational performance.
Designed for both early-career and working professionals, graduates are prepared for leadership roles across industry, healthcare, government, consulting, and nonprofit sectors, including workforce health strategy, occupational health program management, environmental health and safety leadership, and return-to-work and disability management.
Students will learn from faculty who pioneered this growing field and will graduate ready for high-demand roles in safety, human resources and workplace wellness across multiple industries.
