Sara Mumby, MA, is a Senior Professional Research Assistant and the Publications Manager and Media Coordinator for the Centers for American Indian & Alaska Native Health (CAIANH). Her work at CAIANH ranges from managing the Centers' professionally refereed scientific journal to building and managing multiple websites to providing editorial assistance on project deliverables to meet the needs of the centers' many projects. She has 10 years of experience in public health communications, working on staff publications, training curricula, and dissemination materials. She also provides graphic design services and assistance with multimedia needs for the centers. She received a Masters of Arts degree in English studies from the University of Colorado Denver in 2018, where she studied rhetoric, literature, and applied linguistics as well as taught Core Composition to undergraduates. Sara is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health degree at the Colorado School of Public Health with a focus in community and behavioral health (expected graduation Spring 2024).
