In her role as Behavioral Health Program Coordinator, Elisa contributes to the implementation of behavioral health programs in collaboration with principal investigators and LRPC staff.  Her role is to implement evidence-based interventions and provide health education to Latino and underserved communities.  She leads activities funded by the center by delivering behavioral health interventions focused on chronic health conditions such as cancer, diabetes, and cardiovascular and pulmonary diseases.  This position also has a role in community engagement efforts within the LRPC. 

Previously, Elisa worked at the LRPC, Colorado School of Public Health where she served as the Community Engagement Coordinator for the center on various NCI and CDPHE funded grants.  During her time at the LRPC, Elisa was responsible for linking and engaging the Colorado Latino community with the Center.  She developed and maintained collaborative relationships with community-based organizations serving Latinos, as well as contributed to the LRPC team in the revision process for various grant proposals and submissions.   Elisa is passionate and committed to serving the Latino community and underserved populations.
