In her role as instructional designer, Kaela provides technical assistance and course management for public health workforce training courses.

Previously, Kaela worked in the Phoenix Union High School District where she served as an anatomy teacher for the Medical Arts Magnet Program at Alhambra High School. During her time at Alhambra High School, Kaela was responsible for curriculum design, unit planning, coaching Academic Decathlon, and building and maintaining relationships with students and school staff.
