Kathryn Helfrich is a PhD student in the Department of Epidemiology at the Colorado School of Public Health. She received her MSN/MPH from Johns Hopkins University. She has spent her career working for the Alaska Division of Public Health, most recently for the Alaska Division of Public Health Section of Epidemiology's Infectious Disease Program. Her main research interests include infectious disease epidemiology with a focus on foodborne/enteric disease epidemiology, training, and outbreak investigation.
