Dr. Lisa DeCamp is an associate professor at the University of Colorado School of Medicine and Children’s Hospital Colorado. Dr. DeCamp is also part of the Latino Research & Policy Center at the Colorado School of Public Health.
She is a practicing general pediatrician. Dr. DeCamp's research focuses on increasing healthcare engagement of Spanish-speaking Latino families and reducing disparities in healthcare quality and safety for patients and families with limited English proficiency (LEP). Her current research includes projects focused on increasing telehealth use among families with LEP and dissemination of a school-based asthma interventions to reduce disparities in care, outcomes, and evaluation. She works with local Latino-serving community organizations to provide health information and jointly apply for grant funding to support programs focused on addressing prevalent health needs such as child obesity.
