Graduation & Commencement
Spring 2021 virtual convocation
A virtual convocation ceremony will be held on May 27, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of an in-person graduation ceremony, we will celebrate our new graduates with:
- A graduation gift mailed to graduates from the school
- A virtual graduation ceremony in which participating graduates may submit a picture of themselves and some text (e.g. a note of thanks to friends or family, a beloved quote, or information about what you’re doing next).
All students who would be eligible to “walk” in the spring 2021 graduation are invited to participate in either or both of these celebrations. Those who wish to participate must register no later than April 16, 2021.
Please note that all graduating students will receive their diplomas and diploma covers sent to them directly by the Office of the Registrar. Registration at the above link is not required in order to receive your diploma. Students who would like to order regalia for the purposes of their own pictures or private celebrations are welcome to order them. Regalia must be ordered before 10:00 p.m. on April 16, 2021.

The main spring commencement ceremony for the CU Anschutz Medical Campus will take place virtually at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 28,
2021. The ceremony video will be posted on the CU Anschutz website.
