Katie Guthmiller is the enrollment & engagement specialist in the Office of Academic & Student Affairs. Prior to that, Katie served as the Total Worker Health® program coordinator for the Center for Health, Work & Environment.
Katie earned her MPH with a concentration in community and behavioral health from the Colorado School of Public Health. She received a bachelor's in health promotion and global health from the University of Iowa. During her MPH program, Katie completed a three-month internship at the World Health Organization (WHO), where she contributed to several breastfeeding projects and updated the Global Breastfeeding Scorecard. This internship led to further research involving breastmilk expression. She has acted as a wellness coach in an internal medicine clinic and a free medical clinic, served as the co-chair of the Student Health Promotion Committee on the CU Anschutz Medical Campus, served as a research assistant for the American Heart Association, and co-authored a publication comparing teaching methods of CPR. Katie lives in Denver, Colorado and enjoys many outdoor activities such as hiking and skiing.
