Dr. Williams completed medical school in his home state of Mississippi before moving to Colorado to pursue family medicine residency training. He returned for additional training in occupational medicine in 2012 after completing a faculty development fellowship for primary care. He is board certified in family medicine and occupational & environmental medicine. He also has a Certificate in Travel Health from the International Society of Travel Medicine. Dr. Williams’ clinical interests are injured worker care, travel medicine, and medical education. He is a preceptor for medical students, PA/NP students, residents in family medicine, and residents/fellows in OEM. He enjoys teaching in formal and informal settings. He loves to travel and enjoy the outdoors. His wife is an ENT at Children’s Hospital, and they have 2 sons. They travel as a family, and Dr. Williams and his wife have participated in numerous overseas medical missions.
