Amy Schamberg is a Professional Research Assistant and Health Links Advisor at the Center for Health, Work & Environment (CHWE), Colorado School of Public Health, where she supports Total Worker Health® research and implementation. She brings a practitioner's lens, shaped by 15 years as a school psychologist and a deep understanding of the systems and workplace conditions that influence employee well-being and retention.

Her current research applies Total Worker Health (TWH) interventions to prevent and reduce violence against educators and to address burnout among healthcare leaders, extending lessons from education into other high-stress industries. She is a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC), integrating coaching and positive psychology into her approach to organizational advising, and holds a Certificate in Total Worker Health from the Colorado School of Public Health (2025).

Amy is currently pursuing a Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) in Environmental and Occupational Health at the Colorado School of Public Health. Her work reflects a commitment to moving beyond a singular focus on individual-level well-being toward systems-level prevention, while bridging research and practice to advance worker health, safety, and well-being- particularly in education.
