Amy joined as clinical faculty for the University of Colorado College of Nursing in 2008 and currently works in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology for the School of Medicine. She completed her DNP at the University of Colorado College of Nursing, her midwifery training at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH, and her MPH at the Colorado School of Public Health. Prior to joining the University of Colorado faculty, Amy worked in rural Colorado for six years. Her professional and teaching interests include global health, quality improvement projects, perinatal mood disorders, and medical education. She is involved in teaching and education programs for the CU College of Nursing, CU School of Medicine, and Colorado School of Public Health and is actively involved with the Center for Global Health Guatemala Project as the director of the maternal health clinical services.
