Dr. Yaqiang Li is a Research Scientist in the Department of Environmental and Occupational Health at the Colorado School of Public Health. He has extensive expertise in survey methodology, complex survey design and weighting, and advanced statistical analysis. Dr. Li has more than 15 years of experience managing and analyzing large population-based survey datasets and has served as the principal statistical analyst for The Attitudes and Behaviors Survey (TABS) on Health, a statewide surveillance system supporting Colorado's tobacco control program.

His research interests include categorical and longitudinal data analysis, survival and event history analysis, and complex survey sampling and design. In addition to his work on TABS, Dr. Li has provided statistical leadership for numerous public health research and evaluation projects, including the Colorado Health Exposures and Smoking Survey, Colorado Media and Marijuana Survey, and the Healthy Kids Colorado Survey. He also supports data management best practices and collaborates on research focused on healthcare delivery systems and public health interventions.
