Who we are

The Latino Research & Policy Center (LRPC) is part of the Department of Community and Behavioral Health at the Colorado School of Public Health. Our goals are: to work together with students to reduce the disparities that affect Latino communities; to increase collaborative partnerships with community-based organizations, academic institutions, and state/city elected officials; and to work toward eliminating the health and education disparities affecting Latino communities in Denver, in Colorado, and beyond.

What we do

This scholarship is supported by the National Institutes of Health’s Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Consortium to Advance Health Equity and Researcher Diversity (AIM-AHEAD). It was created to help integrate artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML) into the Certificate in Latino Health program by building connections between students and potential mentors working in AI/ML and offering electives to enhance AI/ML skills.

Thanks to AIM-AHED funding, our center offers this scholarship for students to enroll in the Certificate in Latino Health.
