Through the ColoradoSPH Initiative for Education, Leadership, and Opportunity (CIELO), we are strengthening the partnerships that have driven our past success, expanding our reach and deepening our commitment to culturally responsive, community-centered public health practice, research, and evaluation.

CIELO is building a collaborative future where students, faculty, community members, and organizations work side by side to tackle public health challenges and seize opportunities unique to Colorado and its people.  

Partner with us. Team up with us on community-based research and program development—including work with bilingual and multilingual populations—such as study participant recruitment and program evaluation on topics ranging from diabetes management and smoking cessation to mental health and workplace safety.

Leverage our expertise. ColoradoSPH has faculty experts spanning public health. We can help align educational goals with community priorities. Let us help you write grant proposals, team up on publications and data analysis, and help with training your teams.

Provide students with academic enrichment opportunities. Our students are eager to learn from experienced professionals and community leaders as part of their practicum or capstone requirements.
