Joelle is a native of Colorado and attended Colorado College. Afterwards, she completed the Physician Assistant Master's program at Rutgers University/UMDNJ. After working in family medicine, she joined the Colorado School of Public Health in 2006, working on a former worker health program known as the National Supplemental Screening Program (NSSP). This program provides full physical exams and a variety of screening tests and chest x-rays to former Department of Energy workers. When not at work, Joelle is bust with her husband and two kids skiing, doing yoga, walking her fluffy dog, and aspiring to meditate.
