Carol is the deputy director for the Center for Health, Work & Environment. In her role she helps set strategic priorities in research, education, and practice to advance the center’s mission of improving worker health, safety, and well-being. With over 12 years of experience in program evaluation, Carol leads the program evaluation activities for the center, working across all center initiatives to develop and use evaluation metrics to improve programs. Carol also directs the Pilot Projects program for the Mountain and Plains Education and Research Center (MAP ERC). She has a PhD in Psychology from the University of Southern California. When Carol is not working, she enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, and chasing after small children.
