Membership
CHWE’s work is powered by the people and organizations we collaborate with. Our membership community—made up of Affiliate Faculty and Affiliate Partners—is essential to how we expand partnerships, translate research into action, and advance worker health, safety, and well-being across academic, practice, and community settings.
CHWE offers two membership pathways to support meaningful engagement across academic and non-academic environments.
- Affiliate Faculty contribute research leadership, disciplinary expertise, and innovation that strengthen our ability to generate evidence, pursue collaborative funding, and scale impact.
- Affiliate Partners bring applied expertise and on-the-ground perspectives from public health agencies, industry, labor, and community organizations—ensuring our work is responsive, practical, and grounded in real-world needs.

Together, our members enable CHWE to:
- Build and sustain cross-sector partnerships that extend beyond academia
- Translate research into programs, policies, and tools that improve worker health and well-being
- Create applied learning and collaboration opportunities for students and early-career professionals
- Align research, practice, and outreach to address emerging and evolving workforce challenges
Membership is free and open to individuals who are actively engaged—or interested in engaging—in CHWE research, programs, and collaborative efforts. By growing our membership network, we strengthen our collective capacity to convene diverse voices, align evidence with practice, and create lasting, real-world impact.
