Sara has been with the University of Colorado since 1999 and has done all aspects of budget management for Dr. Newman since 2007. As the Associate Director for Business Services, Sara is a member of the Center for Health, Work & Environment's executive leadership team and plays a key role in the financial and strategic planning of the center. She is responsible for making all fiscal decisions and/or recommendations to Dr. Newman, as well as providing leadership and coordination in accounting, budgeting, and business planning areas for the center. When her nose isn't glued to one of her spreadsheets, Sara enjoys cooking with her husband (always enough for the neighborhood), shopping and doing "girl stuff" with her two daughters, and finding excuses to get together with friends and family.
