Sarah J. Schmiege is a Research Associate Professor in the Department of Biostatistics & Informatics and the Center for Innovative Design and Analysis at the Colorado School of Public Health. Her work focuses on developing advanced statistical methods for behavioral and clinical health research.
Dr. Schmiege specializes in latent variable modeling, including structural equation modeling and mixture modeling, and applies these methods to translational science and health behavior research. She collaborates extensively with interdisciplinary teams to design studies, develop analytical strategies, and translate statistical findings into interventions and clinical applications.
