Ms. Brandspigel has been working since 2002 to bridge research and practice in public health and non-profit organizations, with a focus on maternal and child health populations and the prevention of injuries and violence. She engages in suicide prevention research, leads outreach and training efforts, and facilitates the dissemination of research findings into practice. She also leads the Pathways to Prevention webinar series connecting prevention workers to the latest research on preventing child maltreatment and Adverse Childhood Experiences. She received her MPH from the University of North Carolina Gillings School of Global Public Health and a BA from Wesleyan University.
