Dr. Claire R. McNellan is an Assistant Professor in the Colorado School of Public Health's Department of Health Systems, Management & Policy at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. She primarily studies public child- & family-serving systems, injury and violence epidemiology (specifically, child maltreatment), and the role of social policy in promoting maternal & child health. Her current work uses population-based, linked administrative records to better understand the outcomes and trajectories of children and families who encounter welfare and health institutions.
