How we will support your work as an IVPC Faculty Affiliate:
Networking: You will have access to other affiliates and practice partners to discover new potential collaborators. This can include collaborations on grant submissions, papers, and identifying opportunities to share resources such as research staff, grants management support, and statistical support.
Mentorship: Affiliates, especially junior faculty, may receive mentorship tailored to their needs.
Grant development support: IVPC can provide consultation on pre-award and post-award processes and identify experts to provide grant mock reviews. Affiliates may reference IVPC as an institutional resource on proposals, and we will provide letters of support, as appropriate.
Student linkage: We will support identifying student placements for your projects.
Promotion of your work: We will promote your work on our website and share your successes through LinkedIn posts, our newsletter, and via news stories. We can aid you in creating press releases and connect you with media relations teams on campus.
Professional recognition: You can list yourself as an IVPC affiliate on CVs, biosketches, resumes, and dossiers for promotion.
Updates and events: You will receive periodic newsletters and emails sharing funding opportunities, events, and injury prevention news and the latest evidence-based research. You may have opportunities to present your work at these events, or be connected with other injury centers around the country and invited to present your work.
As an IVPC Faculty Affiliate, you will be expected to:
