Sara Mumby, MA, is the publications manager and media coordinator for the Centers for American Indian & Alaska Native Health (CAIANH) at the Colorado School of Public Health on the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. Her work at CAIANH ranges from managing the centers' professionally refereed scientific journal to building and managing multiple websites to providing editorial assistance on project deliverables to meet the needs of the centers' many projects. She has nearly 10 years of experience providing high level editorial review in the field of public health and working on staff publications, training curricula, grant proposals, and marketing materials. She also provides graphic design services and assistance with other multimedia needs for the centers. She received a Masters of Arts degree in English studies from the University of Colorado Denver, where she studied rhetoric, literature, and applied linguistics as well as taught Core Composition to undergraduates. Sara is also pursuing a Master of Public Health degree at the Colorado School of Public Health.
