At the Global Infectious Disease Consortium, we specialize in arboviruses and COVID-19.
Our team of epidemiologic researchers and public health practitioners are based in the Center for Global Health at the Colorado School of Public Health on the CU Anschutz Medical Campus.
Our team specializes in infectious disease surveillance and development of laboratory capacity to support surveillance, clinical trials, and vaccine development for arboviruses and COVID-19. Our focus is on building up the surveillance and laboratory capacity in the developing world, which is disproportionately affected by these infectious diseases. Our goal is to support the sustainable development of epidemiologic and laboratory skills in local public health practitioners and medical researchers. In addition, we conduct research on improving PPE safety and accessibility.
