Who we are

The Dickinson Lab, led by Dr. Katherine Dickinson, works across disciplines and with communities and decision-makers to advance environmental and climate justice. Our lab uses social science tools to study environmental policies and interventions locally and internationally.

What we do

Research grants under our lab: Engage with communities to advance climate and environmental justice action; Examine community resilience to wildfire; Evaluate environmental health policy impacts in Kenya, Ghana, and India; and Examine the social and economic factors of infectious disease domestically and abroad.

Strengthen the field

Creating opportunities for trainees with diverse backgrounds and perspectives to grow and thrive.

Building healthy and reciprocal relationships in all the communities we belong to and work with.

Conducting interdisciplinary team science to generate evidence for action in support of environmental and climate justice.
