Christopher E. Urbina, MD, MPH, is the medical officer for the Pueblo Department of Public Health and Environment. He is the former executive director and chief medical officer of the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE). Prior to joining CDPHE, he was the director of Denver Public Health at Denver Health. He did his undergraduate work at Stanford University, medical school at the University of Colorado, family practice residency at the University of New Mexico, and his Masters in Public Health at Johns Hopkins. He is board certified in family medicine and preventive medicine.

Physician familiar with the administration of medical marijuana pursuant to current state laws with experience recommending medical marijuana to those aged zero to seventeen
