Julia Pangalangan is a DrPH candidate in the Community and Behavioral Health department. Julia’s research interests include chronic disease prevention and management, lifestyle medicine program implementation, positive psychology, and dissemination and implementation (D&I) science. Her dissertation is a pilot hybrid effectiveness implementation study of the PAVING the Path to Wellness program, a lifestyle medicine-based health promotion program.
As a Senior Professional Research Assistant, she works on evaluation for the School Wellness program (PI: Dr. Jini Puma), a SNAP-Ed funded nutrition education program and the WELL study, a mental wellbeing program for early childhood education staff in low-resourced locations (PIs: Dr. Jini Puma and Charlotte Farewell).
