I am an epidemiologist with a primary interest in generating evidence to inform health policy. My research interests include post-authorization vaccine safety surveillance, vaccine impact and effectiveness evaluation, and multi-pathogen serosurveillance. I joined the Department of Epidemiology at the KEMRI-Wellcome Trust Research Programme (KWTRP) in Kilifi in 2019 where I serve as a Mid Career Research Fellow and Principal Investigator. Prior to joining KWTRP, I held various staff and faculty positions at the International Vaccine Access Center (IVAC) and at the Center for Immunization Research (CIR) within the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in Baltimore, Maryland.
I completed my PhD in Global Disease Epidemiology and Control as well as my Master of Health Science in Disease Prevention and Control and the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
