Elinor (Ellie) began her professional career as a behavior health specialist for adolescents. This work connected her to the world of psychotropic medications and their use in pediatric patients, which became the foundation of the Masters thesis at DU. After graduation, she pursued her passion for research by joining the ACCORDS team at the University, and focused her attention on end of life care, specifically hospice and palliative care. She now leads evaluation efforts for CEPEG and feels lucky to be working with groups that touch the gambit of public health needs/initiatives.
