Nicole Zwick is a Senior Evaluator with the Community Epidemiology and Program Evaluation Group at the University of Colorado Cancer Center, where she supports statewide evaluation efforts for Colorado’s Chronic Disease Prevention and Tobacco Control Programs. Her work focuses on mixed-methods evaluation, technical assistance, sustainability assessment, public health webinars, and translating public health data into actionable findings for state and community partners. She designs and leads evaluations for evidence-based and innovative programs addressing tobacco use, chronic disease prevention, such as school-based asthma and colorectal cancer screening, and health equity among Colorado’s priority populations. Nicole’s current doctoral and practicum work extends into violence prevention and workforce sustainability, including a dissertation on community vulnerability and high-risk IPV response in Colorado and a practicum with the UCHealth Forensic Nurse Examiner team focused on burnout, retention, provider wellness, and workforce sustainability. Her previous projects include nutrigenetic research in Type 1 Diabetes, establishing a cervical cancer screening program in Kenya, and NIH-funded studies on neonatal neurological development. In her leisure time, Nicole enjoys climbing, mountain biking, traveling, and relaxing with her family and friends.
