The Center for Health, Work & Environment is one of 10 Centers of Excellence for Total Worker Health® recognized by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The center advances worker health, safety, and well-being by educating future leaders, conducting research, and designing practical solutions with community partners.

The MAP ERC is one of the 18 centers of its kind funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The center offers funding for pilot research as well as graduate training programs in occupational and environmental health disciplines at both Colorado State University and the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus.

HICAHS is dedicated to the improvement of the occupational health, safety, and well-being of the residents of Colorado, the High Plains, and the Rocky Mountain Region. The center works to reduce agricultural injury and illness through focused research, education, and intervention.
