Employer Career Resources

As an employer working with the Colorado School of Public Health (ColoradoSPH), you have access to a talented and growing pool of public health professionals. Our students graduate from a CEPH-accredited institution and train with nationally-recognized faculty from three leading schools—the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, the Colorado State University, and the University of Northern Colorado.

Our students learn about a wide-range of public health topics and graduate with skills and competencies across all five core public health disciplines—biostatistics and informatics; community and behavioral health; environmental and occupational health; epidemiology; and health systems, management and policy. Students also spend time honing their professional skills through hands-on learning experiences such as practicum and capstone projects, volunteer initiatives, and research activities.

Host a practicum student

Nearly all ColoradoSPH students are required to participate in a practicum project, an opportunity for students to developp professional skills and lead projects in a public health setting. In turn, our community preceptors not only receive tangible deliverables from students but can screen for future hiring opportunities as well.
