Deadlines

  • Preferred Deadline: January 15*
  • Final Deadline: May 1

Please note that all applications must be submitted and verified by the due date. The verification process can take several weeks. Please see the SOPHAS Applicant Help Center for more information.

*For scholarship consideration and optional summer enrollment, applicants are strongly encouraged to apply by the preferred application deadline. Those applying after the preferred deadline are only eligible for fall semester enrollment and will be considered for admission on a space-available basis.

**All application materials should be submitted directly to SOPHAS. There are no other supplemental applications or materials that need be submitted.

Admissions requirements


No GRE required

As of October 1, 2019, the GRE test is no longer required for admission to the Master of Public Health (MPH) and Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) programs. As of August 15, 2021, the GRE is no longer required for admission to the Master of Science (MS) and  Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programs. Please review additional details on the applicant page(s) for your program(s) of interest.
