Sarah Smith is the department manager for the Department of Community & Behavioral Health at the Colorado School of Public Health. In this role, Sarah provides fiscal management for the department and works closely with the department chair. She also works with faculty and staff to ensure proper onboarding and training, organize department events, and recruit faculty.

Prior to joining the school, Sarah worked for the CU School of Medicine's Department of Surgery where she served as the program administrator for the General Surgery Residency. In this role, she recruited and onboarded each intern class and created annual reports for the department, school, and Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education. She also worked with program directors on curricular changes, program-wide updates, and implementing American Board of Surgery updates.
