As a data systems and survey operations manager and program evaluator, Sarah is a quintessential jack of all trades. She has expertise in mixed-method and multi-mode research and evaluation. Sarah believes that qualitative and quantitative data enrich each other when utilized properly, and has extensive experience utilizing multiple data-focused platforms. She is the database administrator for the Community Epidemiology & Program Evaluation Group (CEPEG)'s data warehouse and the survey operations manager for CEPEG’s multi-mode survey research unit. Sarah is keenly aware of the structural and historical barriers many groups experience in healthcare and academic settings and is passionate about health equity (HE). She co-leads a HE lunch and learn series and seeks professional and personal growth and greater understanding of the world and its inhabitants at every opportunity.

Previously, Sarah was a senior research associate at Denver Health, and led projects addressing the barriers that individuals experience accessing sexual and reproductive health services/education. Sarah holds an MPH from the Colorado School of Public Health and a BS in Biological and Medical Anthropology from the University of Maryland. She also served for five years in the Army as a technical engineer/paratrooper, worked as a business analyst, and worked in event planning and coordination for nonprofits. Her personal and professional interests include working with individuals who have experienced substance misuse, health equity, and storytelling. She enjoys the outdoors, reading, games, and creating art.
