Hala is an MPH student in Epidemiology and Global health at the Colorado School of Public Health. She is passionate about infectious diseases, specifically how to control and eliminate them. Hala is a research assistant at the Colorado Integrated Food Safety Center of Excellence (CoE), contributing to projects focused on routine enteric disease surveillance, research, and collaboration with state and national health departments.
Hala graduated from the University of Colorado Denver with a degree in Public Health, concentrating in Psychology, certificate in Health Communications, and her phlebotomy license through Phlebotomy Training Specialists.
