Our Team

CIDA believes in providing exceptional biostatistics support. From start to finish we stand behind the research we conduct and support. Our signature is on everything we do, therefore we are invested in each project, grant and partnership. We work hand in hand with the investigator to ensure that the right designs and analyses are used so we can help answer the the age old question, What’s in your data?

PhD biostatisticians

Headshot of Angela Fought

Angela Fought MS

Senior Research Instructor
  • Center for Innovative Design & Analysis
  • Department of Biostatistics & Informatics

Angela is a senior research instructor with the Center for Innovative Design & Analysis in the Colorado School of Public Health. She is a master at completing complex analyses and presenting them to individuals without a background in statistics in ways that everyone can understand.

Angela has been working in medical research for over 20 years. Her skills range from planning and performing statistics, grant writing, and writing research papers. She is skilled in many statistical methods including regression, mixed models, and zero inflated Poisson and negative binomial models, using SAS and R. She also has experience teaching courses in applied statistics to non-statistician researchers and graduate-level biostatistics students.

Angela has worked in the following areas of research: breast and prostate cancer, HIV prevention, Alzheimer’s, and benign prostatic hyperplasia. Since joining the team at CIDA, she is excited to say that she has added the field of obstetrics and gynecology to her areas of research. Her current research interests include cancer, HIV prevention, and Alzheimer's research.
